Peter Roberts


Peter Roberts is an award-winning producer and songwriter based in Los Angeles. He's a five-time Grammy nominee, winner of the Billboard Songwriting Contest (Pop, 2014), and his music has charted in the Top 10 around the world, including a number one slot on the Billboard Smooth Jazz charts. Roberts has written songs for artists such as La Toya Jackson, George Benson, ATC, Bryan Duncan, Lou Bega, Daechelle, Survivor, Vesta Williams, The New York Voices, Irene Cara, Lisa Frazier, Vann Johnson, Aleesha, the Roberts Bros., GEM, Jesse Ritch, and many others.

Many of his songs and recordings have been placed in films and TV shows, including: House, Damages, Smallville, Basketball Wives, Plain Jane, High Society, Melrose Place, Ugly Betty, The Baxter, Sons of Anarchy, Hellcats, The Young & The Restless, The Real L Word, Blue Mountain State, City Girl Diaries, I Hate Valentine’s Day, Bratz, Killer Movie, Cities of The Underworld, The Natalee Holloway Story, Naomi and Ely’s No Kiss List, Boy Toy, 12 Dates of Christmas, Super Fun Night, and many more. His music has also been featured in video games such as Goat On A Float, Dance Battle VS, and Divided Airlines.

Peter recently produced Brazilian singer Bianca Rossini’s second Bossa Nova album Vento Do Norte, and he co-wrote and produced: new artist Valerie Fahren's first single “Say You Love Me;" new artist Chris Novi & SAG7’s first album; Jesse Ritch’s “Bring Out the Sun,” the first single from the album Secret of Life.  Peter is currently working on a new instrumental smooth R&B album and the debut album of Manayama, his ambient/chillout project.
