Pam Sheyne


Based in Los Angeles, New Zealand born Pam Sheyne is a multi-platinum selling songwriter, producer, singer and mentor.  Her songwriting career has achieved success on a global scale and includes international hit records and song placements in numerous films and TV shows.  With 50+ million record sales, 100+ platinum sales, she is also a prestigious Ivor Novello Award winning songwriter along with 7 BMI Airplay citations.

Pam is best known for co-writing the global breakthrough single Genie In A Bottle for Christina Aguilera, she also co-write Dream’s debut single He Loves U Not and Jessica Simpson’s hit Irresistible.  Other artists who have recorded Pam’s songs include: Camila Cabello, Demi Lovato, Lindsay Lohan, Seal, Corrine Bailey Rae, The Saturdays, Cece Winans, Tina Arena, The Backstreet Boys, O Town, Nick Lachey, Laura Pausini, Hayley Westenra, Elvis Blue and Kristinia DeBarge. 

In the TV and film world, Pam has written end titles for Disney’s The Princess Diaries, Confessions of A Teenage Drama Queen and Golden Globe nominated film The Young Victoria performed by Sinead O’Connor.  Pam’s songs have featured in TV films Camp Rock 1 & 2, Jump In and numerous TV shows.   Pam additionally co-wrote and sang the theme tune to the NBC series Dance Your Ass Off and appeared as the songwriting mentor in the first series of BBC TV’s Fame Academy

As a singer Pam has performed and recorded with artists including; The Pet Shop Boys, Elton John, Celine Dion, Tom Jones, Daryl Hall, Cyndi Lauper and Dave Stewart. 

Most recently she was a co-writer on Camilla Cabello’s 2017 debut single Crying In The Club which is currently climbing the Billboard Hot 100 and receiving international recognition, currently No.16 in Official UK Singles chart. 

Pam is a founding member and served on the board of SONA (Songwriters of North America - wearesona.com) an advocacy organization that fights for songwriter rights in the digital marketplace. Pam is also co-founder of SongWriterCamps (songwritercamps.com) along with business partner Richard Harris, they offer a range of educational programs in both songwriting and sync and are committed to helping songwriters advance and accelerate their careers through mentoring, community, and network building.
