Daniel Seeff
Daniel Seeff is an accomplished songwriter and eclectic bassist and guitarist whose music has appeared on dozens of major label recordings, GRAMMY-winning albums, tv shows and films.
Seeff co-wrote the Aloe Blacc hit song “The Man,” which reached #8 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #1 on the UK singles chart,and when on to sell over 4 million units worldwide. The song also appeared in the Beats By Dre ad campaign, which went on to win the Music Innovator awar at the Clios. In addition, it was the end title to the Warner Bros. film Brick Mansions.
Seeff has co-written songs on recent albums by critically acclaimed artists A$AP Ferg, Anderson .Paak (Winner of the 2016 SXSW New Artist award), Logic, and Raury, as well as the legendary hip-hop group Cypress Hill.
He co-wrote the song “Cubicle” which was featured in the comedy classic Hot Tub Time Machine and “I Had a Ball,” which appeared in the hit Showtime series Shameless. Seeff also co-wrote “Your Party” which was featured in the Lifetime cult horror film The Haunting of Sorority Row. His music has appeared in dozens of TV shows including Extra!, Keeping Up With Kardashians, and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Seeff was nominated for the Ashford and Simpson Songwriter Award at the 2014 Soul Train Awards. As a bassist and guitarist, he has appeared on albums by Eminem, Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, and many others.
