Baby Yors
Born in Argentina and based in Los Angeles, Baby Yors is the music project of Marco Palou, a multidisciplinary artist whose bilingual catalog moves between pop, rock, cumbia, reggaeton, and experimental music. His songs explore immigration, identity, and the tension between technology and what it means to be human.
A self-directed visual artist as well as a musician, Baby Yors writes, produces, and directs his own videos and live performances, earning awards at international film festivals along the way. His releases include VIVE!, Americano, Americano Doble, and the forthcoming album SCREAM. He has collaborated with Rose McGowan and Freakquencee, and his work has been featured in Rolling Stone, Billboard, Forbes, V Magazine, and Vice.
Beyond his music, Baby Yors is an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community and the founder of the SER O SER organization, having worked with the United Nations to expand access to information for LGBTQ+ youth in Spanish-speaking countries. In 2018, he was named to Out Magazine's Out100, recognizing the year's most influential LGBTQ+ people.
